OH Christmas Tree Oh Christmas Tree!

"Oh Christmas tree Oh Christmas tree, La La La La La La La."

HEY GUYS!!!
HAPPY DECEMBER! Everyone is getting in the Christmas spirit and I love it! 23 days until Christmas and so many things to get done before then!
Yesterday My family and I went to get our Christmas tree. We went to the same place we've been going to the same Christmas Tree farm for probably 4 years now, and we love it every time we go. We cut our own tree down every year, we always have, so every year we have to go out and walk the field and find the perfect tree to cut down. The fields are HUGE! Rows and rows and rows of Christmas trees that go on forever.

We walk up and down the aisles of trees looking for which one to bring home. Maggie runs from tree to tree picking random ones that she likes, Emma and Gabe run behind her criticizing everyone she picks and I run behind  them trying to catch all the pictures I can.
At one point they were actually jumping over the trees..

This year it was sadly warm outside, there was no snow, and we didn't even need coats, but we still had a ton of fun.
After walking and looking and choosing and marking trees we like with a pair of lost eye glasses,

we would walk back and look at the ones we really liked and try to choose. I fell in love with this one:
but all of the ornaments wouldn't have fit on it ;) We kept walking looking for a tree we had marked with a long weed, when finally we saw it! It stood out from all the others, it was huge and beautiful and definitely the McLemore Christmas Tree of 2012!

We all gathered around it, and started taking pictures, I think its the biggest one we've had in a while!

After sufficing my pictures addiction we cut the tree down so we could take it home. We through it onto the top of the car and took it over to be drilled and tied up, while we were waiting we went into the little shop they have there and looked at their ornaments and had some hot chocolate....And of course saw Santa Claus!
Once we were finished we all loaded back into the car and left. When we got home dad brought the tree in and we cut it open filling the  living room with green needles and the smell of pine and Christmas.
It's HUGE in our living room...probably too big for most people, but I love it! And I can't wait to decorate it soon!

Have a super duper day everyone!
