"A penny for your thoughts, oh no I'll sell 'em for a dollar.."
You know what, infact, I will GIVE YOU a penny just to listen to my thoughts for a minute..
It's 12:30 at night and I have school tomorrow, but I was laying here in bed reminising over my short life and remembering the most random things ever.. and not even in any particular order. Memories from when I was 4 and from last year are all coming back to me and I've layed here for over an hour trying to go to sleep and it isn't working. So I figured that since sleep wasn't doing me any good I might as well type. Who knows this might even end up on my blog. Oh that's right, I have one of those things, and I really like having it. And it would be perfect except for this one tiny problem....these people actually expect me to WRITE. They actually expect me to tell them all about my interesting day, and ask all of my profound theological questions (did I spell that right?). But when you don't have a very interesting day...and you don't really know what profound means what are you left with?? What are you left with when your "interesting" day consists of cinnamon toast crunch, Swedish fish, and late night tv shows? What are you left with when the smartest question you have is, "how do you do this algebraic equation?" ? So here I am laying in bed at 12:41 A.M. thinking..thinking of all these random memories. Like when I was little, back when being creative was as easy as smearing some paint around on a piece of paper at grandmothers house
...grandmothers house..
memory #2 appears 4th of July 2010: spent the entire day together with my family, my best friend, and her family. We went on a walk down the old back roads, cameras and journals in hand, thinking we would stop on the side of the road and read out of those precious little notebooks that I have come to love..Too bad it was so hot outside that we sat down for less than 5 minutes in the little shade we could find. At one point we pitched our shoes in the corn field and I just took off running. It was the best feeling of freedom! Just running down the road barefoot until I couldn't any longer. We ended up walking six miles one way without cell phones and started freaking out because it was getting dark and we were afraid our parents would be mad because we disappeared. By the time we got back we were sure we were gonna get yelled at, but we walked inside and found out that they didn't even know we had left..talk about stressful ;P
...4th of July.....
Makes me smile as a remember the Sunday after the forth of July 2011 me and my other best friend went to the beach with her sister and watched the amazing fireworks over lake Michigan. We sat in a "sand couch". its a memory I will remember forever, not just because it was a fun night, but also because I have a scar on my hand from falling flat on my face as we were trying to walk from our car to the beach and get there in time..yep clumsy Abby fell right on her face in front of a 100 people at least, and my friend looked just long enough to make sure I was ok and then kept walking (but that's how you know she's a best friend :) ) . Afterwards we went to steak and shake and I had a strawberry Smoothie...not sure why I remember that but I do. All in all it was a pretty amazing night:)
....out to dinner with my best friend...
Memory #4 is probably the funniest thing I've remembered all night.. and when I say it I still smile and I'm sure the friends that were with my will too ... Ihop..national hot guy day ;) (pretty self explanatory if you ask me) but this happened on National Pancake Day when every pancake house had free pancakes but when you get three teen girls together it morphs into well...National Hot Guy Day..
And the memories could go on for absolutely EVER! but if I tried to write them all down I would "drain all the oceans of its ink and all the sky of its paper" ( yet another memory in itself, along with hoolihooping through Walmart, whipped cream wars, an all nighter involving spicy popcorn, soap, pillow fights, starring contests, and a little game we like to call "silent football" ;)
And with that. Goodnight everybody.<3 :)
